Your choice — the choice that creates the future.

Towards intellect the world recognises. Entry for next-generation leaders.

You now stand at a decisive crossroads in your career: choosing the legitimacy of intellect on which your future will stand.

What the SCX Professional Program seeks is not someone who merely acquires knowledge. It seeks leaders who unite the legitimate intellect of Europe with Japan's culture of implementation, and who create transformation themselves in a rapidly changing world.

Participation in the programme begins with a process that examines your experience in depth, and confirms your strong will towards the future.

Eligibility — the leaders we seek.

The SCX Professional Program is for those with substantial practical experience and a strong will to create change themselves. We seek professionals who bring value to society not as consumers of knowledge, but as creators of it.

Eligibility by programme (guideline)

  • MBA: A degree from a four-year university or above, together with at least three years of professional experience — in particular, experience of organisational change or management.

  • DBA: Holders of a master's degree (including an MBA or a professional master's). Or, those who, after completing a four-year university degree, have at least ten years of managerial experience (and are aged 35 or above), subject to rigorous review of their record.

Note: the above are minimum guidelines for the admissions review. Educational background and professional history are assessed comprehensively at the individual consultation.

The individual consultation — a place of dialogue, where your career is examined.

Entry to the programme begins with the individual consultation. This is more than a detailed explanation of the programme: it is an important dialogue in which you share, with an academic adviser, the background of your career, your motivation for learning, and the goals you want to reach through the programme.

What the individual consultation covers

  • Detailed information: we explain the admission process in detail, and the concrete schedule suited to your situation.

  • Fit: we review, individually, the fit between your background and the MBA or DBA.

  • Questions and answers: we answer any question you have — the European Professional Program system, the structure of quality assurance by UITM, and more.

Format and venue

  • Online: once your date is confirmed, we send you a dedicated URL.

  • In person (recommended): WeWork, 39F Shibuya Scramble Square, 2-24-12 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo

  • Book a date for the individual consultation

From entry to admission — completed in as little as two weeks.

From entry to admission (the start of the programme), the process moves through the following steps. To ensure transparency and fairness, every step is run with rigour.

STEP 1: Individual consultation
A step of dialogue: confirming the programme fees and the details of the curriculum, your will to learn, and whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

STEP 2: Formal entry
You submit the required documents by the method we specify, and formally enter the process.

◉Documents to be submitted at entry:

  • Essay in English (statement of motivation), about two A4 pages

  • Proof of age (a copy of your passport)

  • Certificate of graduation from your most recent institution (one copy, in English)

  • Academic transcript from your most recent institution (one copy, in English)

  • CV in English

  • Two letters of recommendation in English (referee's contact details and signature required)

  • Application Form (with photograph)

  • Signed Unconditional Self Declaration

STEP 3: Admissions review and notification

Your application is submitted to the UITM academic committee, and a rigorous review is carried out by Shibuya Web3 University Co., Ltd. On the basis of the review, successful applicants receive a letter of admission (offer letter).

STEP 4: Admission procedures and start

Once payment of fees is complete, we hold an admission orientation. With rolling admission — enrolment is possible every month for both the MBA and the DBA — you can join the programme from the following month.

To all who complete the programme, an official completion certificate (Award) is conferred, bearing the signature of the President of UITM in Poland and the seal of the university.

It certifies, under the name of the President of UITM, that you have fulfilled the requirements of the curriculum, and that its content is equivalent to a MASTER / DOCTOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION. It also carries the words "WITH ALL THE RIGHTS, HONOURS AND PRIVILEGES PERTAINING THERETO" — a formal completion certificate that carries internationally.

Those who complete the programme may, for an additional fee, also take part in the Graduation Ceremony held at UITM in Rzeszów, Poland.

FAQ

We answer the questions we hear most often.

[About the programme]

Q1. What is the SCX Professional Program?

A. It is a Professional Program equivalent to an MBA/DBA: UITM (the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów, Poland) provides quality assurance and the curriculum, and Shibuya Web3 University Co., Ltd. operates the programme in Japan.
UITM is a university aligned with the Bologna Process, and the programme stands on the foundation of its quality assurance. To all who complete the programme, an official Executive Award (completion certificate) is conferred under the name of the President of UITM.

Q2. Why the expression "equivalent to an MBA/DBA"?

A. UITM provides education in two forms: the Academic Program (the academic research route, centred on the training of researchers) and the Professional Program (the professional education route, for practitioner-leaders). This programme is the latter.
"Equivalent to" is the internationally precise expression indicating that the content stands at a level equivalent to an MBA/DBA. In the EQF (European Qualifications Framework), the MBA is positioned at Level 7 (the second cycle), and the DBA at Level 8 (the third cycle).

[About learning]

Q1. How much English do I need?

A. Classes are taught in Japanese, so a high level of English is not required to take part. It is precisely because the language is Japanese that discussion can go deep.
Assignments (MBA) and the dissertation (DBA), however, are completed in English. We support this English writing — including the use of generative AI — so that those who lack confidence in English can take it on.

Q2. Can I combine the programme with my work?

A. Yes. Classes are held, as a rule, on Saturdays, in a hybrid format of online (Zoom) and in person (Shibuya), designed so that your learning does not intrude on weekday work.
With rolling admission — enrolment every month for both the MBA and the DBA — you can begin at your own timing.

Q3. Whom is the programme for?

A. What we truly seek are people who refuse to give up on reality, and who are acting to change it.
The essence of our selection criteria is not the number of lines in your educational or professional history. It is the will — "what do I want to change in my business?" — and the practical record that backs it. Not consumers of knowledge, but people who create transformation themselves and set reality in motion. That is the criterion that matters most.
On that basis, the eligibility guidelines are as follows.
- MBA: a degree from a four-year university or above, and at least three years of professional experience (in particular, experience of organisational change or management).
- DBA: holders of a master's degree (including an MBA or a professional master's). Or, at least ten years of managerial experience after completing a four-year university degree (and aged 35 or above).
(Educational and professional history are minimum guidelines. At the individual consultation, we listen to your will and your record, comprehensively.)

[About the completion certificate]
Q1. Who issues the completion certificate (Award)?

A. It is issued under the name of the President of UITM in Poland, and carries the seal of the university and the President's signature.
It is conferred as an official Executive Award (completion certificate) under the name of the President of UITM, recognising that what you have completed stands at a level equivalent to an MBA/DBA.
(For the certificate's wording in detail, see "The Award — your completion certificate" on this page.)

Q2. Where is the Graduation Ceremony held?

A. Your completion certificate is delivered by post.
In addition, you may, if you wish, take part in the Graduation Ceremony held at UITM in Rzeszów, Poland.
(Attendance involves separate costs, such as travel and participation fees.)

For any questions not covered here, and for those specifically related to your situation, we will provide the answers during your individual consultation. Let's work together to determine the suitability of our services to your background and goals through our conversation.
