From an "education-based society" to a "learning-based society"—this philosophy is not mere idealism. This program implements concrete functions to update participants' awareness and rewrite reality by highly integrating cutting-edge "IT strategies," "generative AI," and "UITM quality assurance."

Rather than aiming to simply consume knowledge, the assignments focus on the "business challenges" that participants currently face within their own companies. By immediately "implementing" the learned theories into practical work and repeatedly verifying them, a structure is created in which theory and practice evolve in a spiral fashion.

We define generative AI not as a "replacement," but as a "co-pilot" that extends human intelligence.
AI will handle "information transformation," such as analyzing vast amounts of data and structuring information. UITM is a university that adheres to the Bologna Process of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). This program is managed by UITM, which is responsible for quality assurance and curriculum provision. You can complete an MBA/DBA equivalent degree while in Japan.

MBA Executive Award (1 year) – Transforming Management.

Goal: To gain the perspective and implementation skills necessary to understand the structure of the world and take action based on one's own will.
Duration: 12 months of intensive practical learning.
This MBA program integrates solid knowledge and implementation skills in IT strategy, global management, and transformation management. With Information Technology Management at its core, this next-generation MBA redefines management as an "IT-based decision-making system," designed with the realities of Japanese business as its starting point.
[Sharpen your thesis skills with assignments] While there is no final thesis, assignments (tasks) are in the form of a research paper. Professional thesis instructors will support you in developing your "writing skills" and "questioning skills." We cultivate research thinking from the MBA stage, which will lead to a smooth transition to a DBA.
DBA Executive Award (2 years) – Transforming society.

Goal: To pursue research that deepens to the point of changing the world, by shaping the future from one's own questions.
Duration: A 24-month intensive integrated research and practice process.
We elevate complex, practical management challenges into academic "research themes." Unlike PhDs, which primarily focus on theory building, this program systematizes recommendations for society through practical, hands-on research. Through thesis writing and oral examinations (Viva), it's a path to evolving into a Scholar-Practitioner (scholar-practitioner) with solid knowledge and ethical values, pioneering the frontiers of their specialized field.

That is the learning system for the SCX Professional Program.
1. Flexible admission period (rolling admission)
Both the MBA and DBA programs utilize a rolling admission system, allowing students to enroll every month. We provide personalized guidance and support to each student.
2. Lecture Structure and Learning Load
Module Design: Each module of lectures for both MBA and DBA programs is conducted intensively over one month (three sessions between the first and fourth Saturdays of each month, as determined by the calendar).
• Schedule: Both the MBA and DBA programs consist of 3 lessons, each 4 hours long. Lecture times are from 1:00 PM to 5:15 PM (with a 15-minute break).
• Format: Classes will be conducted face-to-face, using a hybrid format combining online and offline (planned to be held in a conference room in Shibuya).
3. Guidelines for learning load
• MBA: Each module requires 100 hours of study (including classes, instruction, seminars, and self-study time).
• DBA: The learning time per module is 160 hours (including classes, instruction, seminars, and self-study time).
To achieve world-class learning, students are expected to be independent and diligent in their self-study.
4. Language Strategy and Deliverability Criteria
• Language of Instruction: Both MBA and DBA courses will be conducted in Japanese. This will deepen students' understanding of core concepts and enhance the depth of their discussions.
Assignments: All 8 modules of the MBA program and 2 modules of the DBA program require the submission and review of assignments written in English.
• Final Thesis: The DBA thesis must be written in English.

Through research that elevates real-world business challenges, you will complete your development as a leader capable of pioneering the frontiers of your professional field. Transform your own question into a research project of approximately 20,000 words. With individual guidance from a dedicated supervisor, you will investigate the management challenges of your own company or field with academic rigour, completing your thesis through an oral examination (viva). The research process itself will fundamentally rewrite the quality of your management judgement.

The SCX Professional Program is a professional program where UITM is responsible for quality assurance and curriculum provision. Shibuya Web3 University Co., Ltd. will operate it in Japan.
UITM is a university that adheres to the Bologna Process of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Under its quality assurance, the program is designed to meet the standards of the EQF (European Framework of Qualifications), with the MBA equivalent to Level 7 and the DBA equivalent to Level 8.
Those who complete all curriculum will receive an official Executive Award (certification of completion) from the President of UITM. This award is recognized as equivalent to a MASTER/DOCTOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION and possesses value that is recognized in the global business world.

Guidelines for eligibility
• MBA: Must have a bachelor's degree or higher. Must have at least 3 years of work experience, particularly in organizational transformation or management.
• DBA: Generally, candidates must hold a master's degree. Alternatively, those with a bachelor's degree or higher must have at least 10 years of work experience (scrutinized based on resume).
